Wire sleeve/conduit recommendation
I tried to run some additional wiring through the interior but there is no great path in an ERA that enables the wires to be run invisibly. So I've decided to run a conduit under the from the front side (near the footbox) to the trunk. It will probably be 8' x 3/4" ID, and I don't expect it to be exposed to very high heat. The purposes are: (1) aesthetics, and (2) some extra protection for the wires. I found this on McMaster-Carr's website: McMaster-Carr. Does anyone else have recommendations for conduit/sleeving?

mcmaster is a great company for all industrial stuff. i bought all of my wire loom there.
i used the black 1200 deg high temp fibergalss stuff. the white is sock like and hard to fish wire thru.
the 1200 deg black has a little rigidity to it and was easy to use.
i used shrink wrap at the ends to help keep it from moving
here you can see it run on the intake and disappears into the firewall. i did the whole car with the loom.

FWB,
Thanks. That looks really trick. Exactly which one is that? I checked: http://www.mcmaster.com/#standard-ca...eeving/=o1c3p0 and couldn't find it. I was thinking I should use something waterproof, but I guess it will almost never see water under there. And even if it does, it would dry and shouldn't cause a problem.

if you don't need the fireproof stuff, i like this, have used the corrugated also but it looks cheap and a pita to put the wire in.
link didn't work, but it is the polyester braid stuff. here it is also.

I used regular EMT from my local Home Depot, like this: McMaster-Carr
I used it for my dash braces (and ran my speedo cable, oil temp line and some other wires through to the dash) and for wires headed to the back of the car. Easy to work with, if you have an EMT bender.

I use the self-wrapping stuff, 5 different sizes, works like a charm. Black zip ties along the way, totaly sanitary.
