Default Hi-Tech Rear Hub Re-Build

I am in the process of building a Hi-Tech Cobra and was wondering if anyone had rebuilt their rear hubs. I am looking for information on who makes the yoke (Jaguar or Corvette) and if anyone has information on the bearings that are used in this hub. Unfortunately the car did not come with any detailed assembly information. I have attached pictures of the rear uprights / hub assembly. I would appreciate any information or advice on this rebuild. Thanks in advance

Thanks Chas - I'm hoping that is what it is - Jag yoke and Jag bearings. I will be finding out soon enough as one way or another, they are coming apart. By the way, my son sent me pictures of an "awesome" Cobra he was next to on the highway. It was your ERA and he was right - it is awesome.

i do not think the bearings where from a jag, i have hitech plans for the rear hub assembly, and the bearing races are different to my jag. Best way is to take it apart and read the numbers off the bearings.

Any good bearing distributor can match them up rather easily. As I found out, if they want an arm and a leg for them, go to another distributor that has a different brand as different lines carry different items as standard.

Default Jag parts

Hello, Call Nick at Acton Custom, he will help you. He rebuilt my CSX4000 rear hubs and I know he is familiar with the Jag parts.
Good Luck, Karl

Is that for the U.S. Hi Tech? (not Hi Tech SA)
Seems to me, Tim told me a long time ago they were Ford. I could be wrong though. Have you measured it?

I'm sorry mongoose, are you asking about the hub bearings or the universal joint?
I shouldn't post something just before I leave for work!

Thanks everyone for getting back to me. My car is actually in Mickmate's shop right now and we are pretty confident that this will be a fairly straight forward procedure. The assumption is that most of the bearings and seals will be readily available parts. I was just looking to see if anyone had any instructions or had recently gone through the process and had any insight to share. I think Nick and I (mostly Nick) will get through this without too much trouble although I probably just jinxed myself...
