Default Pulling a travel trailer with my Kirkham

I know heads are exploding right now!

Sherrie and I just finished restoring a 1967 Aloha travel trailer....when I stripped the paint I couldn't resist polishing it out and now it's hooked up and ready to go with the Cobra.

Here's the trailer when we bought it at the beginning of June.

This is awesome! Do you mind if I share this on the Kirkham Facebook page? I am the admin of it and their photographer among other things.

not that you have not thought of this...
but what is the weight... of the rig behind the car?
(when the thing being towed...really out weighs...things can get really squirrely with braking etc)

I would like to know the magic behind the missing trailer tongue shadow........either magic or someone is trying to hide something........

Ha!

I believe you have a trailer, and I believe you have a Kirkham.

I do not believe you tow the trailer with the Kirkham.

Sorry, you failed on the photoshop of this one. You failed to take into account the proper shadow of the cobra vs the trailer. There are other clues, but I'll leave that for others to point out

I'm quite certain that would violate at least a couple laws of physics...

You guys caught me. I didn't try too hard to trick you, but it made me smile trying. Backed up the Cobra this morning and started snapping.

In case it's not clear, this was all meant as tongue in cheek...

The trailer project was a lot of fun and Sherrie and I just got back yesterday from a 1.5 week trip. All worked well. I bead rolled the panels in diamond pleat to cover the front window instead of the fiberglass. Sherrie worked on restoring the interior. This was the first husband / wife restoration I have done and it was pretty cool.

Looks cool, and best to leave the interior decorating to the wife...

It is cool as heck aside from all the acres of aluminum to keep shiny, my first thought till spotting missing shadow was how would you ever see around that beautiful restored trailer. It would have looked neat to see temp west coasts hung off the doors.
The wife and I are finally empty nesters, recently retired and getting to know each other all over again, we are loving it. Good to hear others doing the same thing.

Brent,

That was a great job on the trailer and it looks as if does belong behind the Cobra.
