Black Hills Cobra Rally

Putting out feelers on whether a rally for Cobra replicas or originals to be held in the Black Hills of South Dakota would be of interest. They already have the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, Corvette Rally, Camaro Rally, Studebaker Rally, Mustang Rally and other car events.
I usually hang out at the FFCARS.COM site and one of the members suggested I post here. If the rally is held I am thinking late August or early September.

I love taking the cobra to the Black Hills. We've been there twice in the last couple of years. Chuck, I think you and I met when we were up there for the custom car show, Kool August Nights.

The mile hi cobra club takes a trip up there every July. This year we were there at the same time as the Corvette rally. Kind of sad for the Corvettes, though, since we got all the attention.

Yes, that was me Bob (Kool Deadwood Nights). I did see several Cobras on the road this past July bud didn't know where they were from. I got a PM from one of the Colorado guys saying they plan on another trip to the hills in late July 2014. -- Chuck

I went with the club this year, and we had a great time. Despite the rain and hail. I'm looking forward to going again next year. Road Trip!

Kool Deadwood Nights was a great car show. I haven't seen that much quality and ingenuity in one place since... well.... since never! I saw some pretty amazing stuff. Here's a few of the pictures I took that week end: Kool Deadwood Nights 2011 Photos by bobcowan | Photobucket

Twelve of us from the DFW area and Arkansas spent a week September 2011 using Deadwood as a base. Great scenery, roads and weather=great trip!
