Default Really Need Some Info

I'm looking at buying a crate engine from Prestige Motorsports in Concord, NC. Before I do I'd really like to hear from anyone who has done business with them or knows of them. If you have any info or know someone who does please pass it along. I'd appreciate it. Thanks

I have been around here for almost 15 years and I have not heard of these guys. That is not bad just not someone most of us deal with on a regular basis. What made you decide on these guys? Proximity to Nascar technology?

Clois

I'm not sold just yet on Prestige. I've been searching for engine builders and seeking advice on the forums. Found em on the internet and like the prices and product from what I've seen. They seem to know what they are doing. Also looking at Keith Craft. I'll figure it out soon I guess.

Greg,

I was going to tell you to ask John who he recommends on Modesto, but maybe that might not be a good suggestion at this point. Maybe in another week or so.

You might call Rettig Brothers in Modesto,

Rettig Brothers Inc
(209) 529-8016
2612 Woodland Ave, Modesto, CA 95358

Not sure if they do complete engines but I use them for most of the machine work that I need done. They redone the heads that are on your CR.

They are an old time shop. They don't even have a web site. A couple of brothers own the shop (hence the name). I do know that they are old and have been talking about retiring and closing the business though.

Just one more piece of confusion for you

Thanks Terry, I will give them a call. As for John, hope I haven't pissed him too bad but couldn't let the cheap shot go unanswered. No hard feels here.
