Default Heritage Museum & Gas Monkey Garage

early this morning had a chance to watch Gas Monkey garage episode where they were building a COPO Camaro Drag car. They had a chance to visit GM's Heritage museum. What I found interesting was the comment that anything could be sold. I mean they have some historic vehicles there mostly in storage which they rotate. Does anyone have first-hand knowledge if they take offers in fact on there collection. I just emailed a friend and expecting an answer soon. I know what I heard but maybe they were just joking around cause it's Gas Monkey.

You are not seriously asking about ANYTHING involving "Gas Monkeys", "The Count", "Dallas Car Sharks" or "American Restoration" are you? Overhaulin' and all of the rest.

Newsflash....Reality TV is NOT REAL!!! I LOVE how Rick on AR can give an estimate after a quick eyeball of the project. Having OWNED a restoration business I can sssure you one of the parties involved will be screwed with those "mark one eyeball" estimates!

I applaud your involvement in doing cars for wounded military veterans, I think that is great, but I know you can find better/cheaper anywhere but Vegas.

Do they take offers? I don't know, but have you tried calling them?

And you do realize that you posted a question about a 2013 COPO Camaro in "All Cobra Talk"? May I suggest next time posting a question about a non-Shelby related item perhaps in the Racing Talk or Lounge Forums? I'd even roll the dice and maybe post your question in a Chevy or, more specifically, a Camaro-only forum.

I don't see any question about a COPO Camaro...... just sayin

The question was about what was said on the show....

Then our comprehension or general gist of the OP's post is different.

There's still no connection to a Cobra, so it doesn't belong in ALL COBRA TALK.

Perhaps if he had mentioned the word Cobra someplace in his post, your panties wouldn't be in such a bunch.......

Perhaps if the OP picked up a phone and called the collection, or even emailed them, to see if they take offers.

Here's the link, just in case the OP doesn't know how to use Google:

GM Heritage Center - Home

I always find it alot of fun to talk about the GM Heritage Collection and 2013 COPO Camaro's in the "All Cobra Talk" forum.

Thanks I already received defined info. The mention of building a COPO was only for the topic of that particular show if anyone had seen it. However I was thinking of a Cobra when I was composing the thread quickly. Honestly I'm not familair with those other sections of this site. I'm usually doing 12 things at once at all different levels so at times i might post an incomplete thought but do try to get the idea through. When I post here it's sort of a luxury for me to do so because of the time involved and it means less time for something else.

As far as those reality shows I mentioned Danny as an inside joke to one other member here. I heard all about some of those shows.

Thanks

By the way don't get upset because I mentioned Chevy or COPO on a cobra talk thread. I have my favorites but I love them all.
