The Resurrection
Prior to Easter of this year I came up with a concept for a vehicle for a disabled special ops sailor. I have sponsored and donated a few muscle cars that have been warehoused for special needs vets. I had written a piece and emailed it to friends for ideas and to this day nothing has hit home. The piece is in edit mode now and not visible to the public. It's a bit historical and winded.
Three cars have been restored including a 70 Cuda and a triple black 68 Charger..yes Bullitt. He wanted a Duke's clone and my deceased wife was black and she always hated that flag so i talked him into something better.
This former SEAL I have known for some time. In fact I have known him since his early teen years. I helped train him prior to entering the USN. Many former SEAL's volunteer their time to help in areas to improve mental and physical strength in certain candidates. I believe the success rate is close to 70% for these young men. I was heart broken to learn that he was seriously injured. Eventually his wife came to me for help. End of story he was/is depressed and has gone through all the rehab. I offered him a job on either coast to head security details, but that is not what is needed at this time.
I came up with an idea of a damaged Cobra rebuild while sitting in one of the barns. I thought that his participation in rebuilding a long forgotten cobra could symbolize a resurrection for this young man along with the vehicle. I'm at the point that it doesn't have to be a cobra it could be anything. I just need ideas how to incorporate the concept into a vehicle. I even asked one great mind out in Vegas and he didn't have an idea.
That was one reason I rejoined this site to learn about the various cobras out there. If you care to share any thoughts on conceptual ideas feel free to post here or PM me. I know Danny out in Vegas is just biting to do a vampire resurrection cobra if you know who I'm hinting at. lol
Sorry I usually don't proofread but I think you get the idea this time.
Peace and thanks for reading.
