Alrighty then, it ain't braggin' if it's true and certified witness's!

"Double Venom". (The V-10 powered Cobra) 6 weeks of setting up all suspension by Honda's test driver at their track, TRC, Marysville, Ohio, out side of Col's.

Dead start at 3800-3900 rpm launch with Mickey Thompsons slicks-NOT street slicks!

2.3 G's plus using TRC's equipment. MPH 133 mph- quarter mile. Also Dave SMITH of Jenny and FFR fame witnessed it and even provided a neck brace for me!

100' skid pad, again at TRC, with Honda's PRO DRIVER. Verified by DODGE, Honda, Honda's driver and me, DV who had to replace the rod bearings for throwing 11 qts of oil into the heads!

1.3 PLUS! (Per Dodge a Viper can not tolerate over 1.1 G's without at least a baffled oil pan!

TIRES: Cooper COBRA M/S tires! Same set we won the Run N Gun and set new records at St Louis on. (We got "Challenged" at Run & Gun until one of their track inspectors came over to verify we weren't using illegal tires! When he started laughing hysterically I panicked and asked him what was wrong! When he quit laughing long enough he pointed out the M/S one the tires~ I said SO! Whats that mean? Started laughing and shaking his head again......M/S means MUD AND SNOW TIRES! Who would have thought?)

Rear: Custom 9" built by me
Corners: Typical coil overs

Classic Roadster front sway bar- removed for skid pad testing. We ran out of time to make a proper sway bar!

Rear links/arms boxed and welded in solid, by me. Stock CR's bushings.

That's my story and I'm sticking with it!

My 125 shifter kart pulls 2gs in some corners and I do wear a carbon fiber chest protector. A 20 min. session is a work out. Tracking cars and sitting in my Butler seat is mucho more relaxing.

ERA if I remember right, it was a 100' circle. TRC actually had this painted on their test track. Don't ever recall the term centripetal, but never took physics either. (Just now took elementary 101 Physics on centripetal!) I know I was whipped running in and out of the test area every time Roger stopped, taking four temp readings on both out side tires as quick as I could.

I would have loved to had taken pictures or even a video but cameras of any kind were taboo at TRC. Especially on the track! (This track was and as far as I know still is used by all the manufacturers, even for their experimental cars.)

Driving through Marysville to Col's on Rt. 33 you will see a miles long very tall bank out in the middle of nowhere. This bank makes up the famous massive degreed banked track. I was told at this banked section of the track, if you tried to park a car on it and put it in park and walked away the car would slide down sideways on its own to the bottom of the track.

*A side note, when ever this part of the track is in use they have at least a dozen spotters along the track to warn of DEER!
