Default Contempory 289 on eBay

Didn't know Contempory built a 289 but this says it's one of one.
Also says it's an exact copy of Shelby's 289 4" tube chassis. Plus a few others!

Randy says one of one prototype car, Peter told me they made about half a dozen. It's accurate to what CCX's were built as, not so much to original spec chassis.

I can second the confirmation of "more than one" slabside. One sits just outside of DC, been trying to grab it from the owner, but he seems to be in no rush to either finish the car, or sell the project

I guess it could be accurate to describe it as a one of one prototype but aren't all prototypes one of one?
