If it were 1975 they would hold 5 but with the obesity in this country the car hasn't gotten smaller people have gotten bigger.

you pretty well admitted that you took a chance or gamble so guess that might not go any where in court--------
However, since the frame is too long by 2 inches and the rear doesn't fit the body, I would build a new rear section of frame to correct the wheel base and the body fitment--
you might be able to buy just the rear section of an EM frame to fit the body orrrrrrrrrreven a complete frame done for the 90 inch body

Best advice yet. Litigating this would be energy, time and money wasted.

Hey look at the bright side. You love the cobra, most any cobra... even those ones that guys paint funny colors.. like orange (heehhehe... orange)... and you're about to get a great assembly learning experience.
I bought a totally screwed up Streetbeast kit. The thing was worse than a Russian car built in 1944, and driven until 1988 and then sold to a Moldavian for a bath tub. That bad.
End of story is that I finished it in a year. Spent more than I wanted (did't we all), learned more (you too) and in the end have a car that is really really fantastic, I love it, it's beautiful, it sounds great, it drives amazingly, has a custom... well everything (probably won't even bother selling it as a SB kit),and fits by body perfectly as a great track car.
All said, it'll be an adventure, and you'll love it too Best of luck!

What would it cost to buy a new body/chassis kit from a single supplier that uses the same front and rear as what you have?
Then swap it all onto the new one that comes with paperwork and all?
Then sell the old chassis and body to a potential drag racer or someone wanting to build a little track car?

Just a thought.........
All comments are wonderful and thoughtful.
But............
WTF ever happened to the OP?
Just another troll at work, having fun. At least he spurred conversation....for whatever that's worth.

I imagine the OP will threaten a lawsuite, the seller, being ignorant will get scared and refund the money and that will be the end.

Suffice to say, he has read everything prior to that time period.
It is now his choice whether to return and post again.

Didn't Lone Star Cobras come in a 92 inch wheelbase?
