Default 1952 Ferrari Barchetta

Was in downtown Pasadena yesterday at a book store .. and I noticed on Colorado Blvd. there were tents in the distance and the streets were closed. Turned out to be the annual Pasadena Ferrari show. The coolest car there was a 1952 Ferrari Barchetta .. the car that was the inspiration for AC to draw the lines for the AC Roadster (who said the Japanese were the first ones to copy car profiles!!).

I have read about the Barchetta .. and always wanted to see the roadster that is arguably "the father of the cobra". Georgous!

Note that the nose shape is almost identical to the AC Ace, which came about almost 5 years after the Barchetta.

Did not attend but a 512BB attended from my garage. Small Chinetti lettering on the side.
