Angry help

I am perplexed. I drove my cobra last night without incident. This morning turned the security key on the console, turned the ignition key.....NOTHIN. No fans, light horn dash and definitely NO ignition. battery is fully charged and selinoid is getting juice (jumped it with cable and it cranked). Thought is could've been the reset breaker (12v 15amp) so I changed that. Still ZERO jucie to anything when key is put into on position. ANY SUGGESTIONS? could it be the actual key igniton swith?

All the wires and connections in and out of the ignition switch attached and intact throughout their length?

Default Help

as far as i can see and feel, everthing is in tact everywhere. Turning the key produced nothing. I even left key on and fan engaged while fiddling around to check connections under and throughout dash

Check grounds, especially from the battery. Very critical on a fiberglass car.

When you say, "Security Key", I assume you mean a main battery switch? If so, that switch has failed. They're really not durable enough to use all the time.

Thumbs up

Those cheap plastic battery shut offs are notorious for failure. I went through two before wising up. Buy the all metal one. It's the same one most race teams
use. I still have it after 8yrs.
