Well said Jano. The forum is becoming a negativity pit. Whatever happened to "if you can't say anything nice, then don't saying anything at all"?? Come people, lets get back to having fun, sharing info, doing a little bragging and drop the BS

Were we supposed to guess what that blue car with the single white stripe is?
Hmm, how about an original 260 street car to which some owner added some competition options?

Ok, my guess must have been wrong then. How about an AC Ace with a V8 stuffed under the hood?

Onyx,
Blame the "ass" calling on Mr. Shelby. The legion of fans are just mimicking their hero.
Maybe it's my New York upbringing but I find your threads amusing and informative. U have "inside" stories on car history. Please continue to share, with more pictures. What's the story about the Cobras in your flicker acct?
Seriously, cc friends, if the only stress in life are hobby cars and internet forums, then u do have a wonderful life!
Back to real life issues, like changing diapers.

Well most private collectors will remain just that private. We certainly do not want to post pictures or even admit to owning certain cars unless you are in the small inner circle. I have heard this from 3 other collectors on this site. Some of the Cobra pictures were from an old Anaheim SAAC meeting. The Flip-top also called the turd I was looking at long time ago and never purchased. Not sure what is on that flickr account mostly old photos. The black 289 is family owned. The 300 SL Gullwing is family owned since new. My bro Cozy recorded a bunch of stuff and like J. Cash was the Man in Black. He even recorded that. I told the story before but the black Porsche in the flickr account he used on tour for awhile and one of the rigs flattened it at a venue. I'm not a Porsche guy anyway. My guys took out all the fluids and glass and whatever and had it crushed into a cube which I used as a base for a table. I just but a thick piece of safety glass over it. Funny part I never explained before the guys did a little joke in their video with a wrecked Porsche below.

I was always an Ian Gillian fan and had a chanc to work with them on Stormbringer II/Perfect Strangers(Deep Purple) project. However I did get a chance to jamb with Jimmy with the Page/Coverdale project.
Dam look at that harp guitar of Jimmy's. Sweet!!!! Below is vid.

Let me give you a hint....any thread that puts a small block against a big block, or vice versa, or puts a "fake" (as you put it) against a "real" one, etc. will most likely start an argument.

Exactly what start another face slapping session. All that needed to be said was said in that last long winded thread. We most all know where we stand on the issue no need to keep bringing it up. We are on a forum that recognizes Cobras and the enthusiasts that love them so why can't we all get along.
