Default Cobra ?????????????????????????????

I couldn't help but notice all the name calling going on recently...really now come on give it a break. I guess a handful of members really can't stand each other.

Well anyways HERE I GO AGAIN!

The fellows in the NYC area do you remember those Crazy Eddie commercials?

With "prices that will drive you INSANE!!!!" Well in that spirit of driving you insane I have another name that cobra game. There are a few smart cookies out there that track all these cars. Well here is a good one for you, real easy and I can not help with any clues and if I did they would make no sense without an explanation.

Come on SunDude and Ned throw your hat in the ring.

So here is one picture that I will take down in a few days....what is it?

Is this a real one, a fake one? A major Fakeydoo?

Is it that secret weapon that use to be talked about in hushed tones behind closed doors by Carroll Shelby and his crew?

Is it aluminum, plastic, fiberglass...what the heck is it?

Is it one of those air cobras or wrecked cobras that I have hinted at?

Or is it that bad ass mother-clucker that NYG just bought. That Machiavellian rode warrior out to get you guys making fun of him.

Or is it that elusive cough... cough... chevy powered original cobra that Al has been dreaming of?

Ok getting ready for a tour of US National Parks for the summer with the children and crew...have some fun with this.

https://www.flickr.com/photos/980284...n/photostream/

For my entertainment Here I go again.... By the way that's my best mate, racing buddy, major Sh.t kicker Cozy Powell on drums.

Another StormBringer production....

Ciao

You could have posted the pic (without a link) and asked the same quiz question without all of the other drama. And the end result would have been a much more engaging experience. Instead, all you've done is kicked sand on the beachgoers.

Epic fail, IMHO.

And FYI I post pics the fastest and easiest way for me and that should be of no concern to you let alone making that comment.

If you know that these other threads and cause sore spots and fights, then why in the world would you start another thread which does nothing but goad others into fighting? Let me give you a hint....any thread that puts a small block against a big block, or vice versa, or puts a "fake" (as you put it) against a "real" one, etc. will most likely start an argument.

My sentiments exactly the responders from the last heated discussion still have strong opinions that is not going to change why keep it going. I for one look forward to this forum for constructive communication not head butting.

Well I see you guys have no sense of humor at all and need to post your comments.

No one was pitting anyone against another. I am sick and tired of a certain element continuily calling each other ass and asshole. It came to a point with one calling the other POS and wished he was on the other side of the table on a transaction. I'm sick of the BS, name calling and all that childish behavior.

I guess you failed to recognize that I was reflecting on what took place and how silly y'all sounded.

I will either ignore those comments from now on even though they were not directed towards me or drop an aircraft carriers weight upon the members head. You make the decision whether that is going to happen or not.

I don't fully understand the mass exodus of the Australians but am beginning to.

And I don't think Al or NYG took any offense to any of my comments.
Carry on.

If interested in the architecture send me a PM. That was one of my great grandfathers residences and the roof pictures were taken by me and FYI Cozy snatched me by the waist as I was sliding off.

Onyx,
Blame the "ass" calling on Mr. Shelby. The legion of fans are just mimicking their hero.

Maybe it's my New York upbringing but I find your threads amusing and informative. U have "inside" stories on car history. Please continue to share, with more pictures. What's the story about the Cobras in your flicker acct?

Seriously, cc friends, if the only stress in life are hobby cars and internet forums, then u do have a wonderful life!

Back to real life issues, like changing diapers.

With a bit of editing and a grammar check, I think OnyxRider's posts are fine.

Unfortunately, whatever point he generally wants to convey gets lost in translation to English.

Seriously, I start to read his posts, but I get tired of trying to figure out what he's attempting to say and move on.

NYG, speaking of "legion of fans", you're quickly developing a "fan" base here on CC with your repetitive commentary and opinions.

Howza 'bout this...everyone stop being so damn critical of each other, either directly or indirectly. Learn to "change the station" if you don't like a thread.

Were we supposed to guess what that blue car with the single white stripe is?

Hmm, how about an original 260 street car to which some owner added some competition options?

No clue what the blue car is, but I found pictures of the manor house when it was new. It's not up to me to post them, but it's sad to see how great houses like this deteriorated over time. Same story, whether it was the British stately homes or the Newport "cottages", unless some public or private entity stepped in to save them, they were lost forever.

The Brits know how to fashion rules and regulations to make it easier to save castles, palaces, manor houses and the like...modernization is allowed to make running a supporting business (tours, lodging, rentals) viable. Here...once your building gets a "Historical" listing, you're screwed.

It seems like every time I read a post looking for info and thinking I might learn something, many times its nothing but bickering. The forum isn't all the fun and informative anymore. I can understand why many are leaving it and that's unfortunate, it shouldn't be that way. I agree with Jano "change the station" if you don't like. Enough already!!
