Any Contests Ever On This Site?
Just wondering if any of the advertisers or members have any contests on this site? Maybe an advertiser like Kirkham putting some shirts or little items in a give away. Maybe SAAC could throw in a registry for advertising their product through a fun contest. Just trying to get something gong here. Any ideas just post. Not looking for 20 pages of rules, just something light and in the process educational.
I keep my security details on their toes all the time with tests and questions. And with my daughters and their friends I always come up with some historical town or school question for them to research. Maybe a contest to keep NYG busy. Just kidding but I have to say some of the articles he posts I have come across but haven't the time to post them.
While in New Hampshire I came across a bunch of car stuff stored away. I found a bunch of Chinetti International Motors garage plates. Also I have a bunch of private invites to the Mercedes-Benz Swimwear fashion show that takes place in Miami next week. A whole bunch of private invites from vendors that I really didn't read through everything. Includes a voucher for several nights at the Raleigh Hotel where the shows take place. I'm not really into fashion scene and currently on this national park trip. Although if I did attend a fashion show I would attend this one because it deals with the least amount of clothes. Also my friend ''I didn't win the Miss America" contest will be model in the show.
Ciao
Any ideas just post. I'm not on here everyday. I did give some COA stuff to one member last year when I attended that race.

FYI...no problem per se (no gambling, auctions, etc.). Some mfgs have done them in the past, including the Kirkhams.
I could donate a few things I stole from Provo.

SAAC throw in a Registry? Heck, many here only consider SAAC just "another car club" and the Registry a useful door stop.
Stick around and you'll see.
I love newbies!!

And here's our 1st contest. Who can guess the Top 2 trolls?
Registries are $245, so I don't think I'll be giving away mine.

You have a Bible? Do you believe everything written in it word for word?
Plus, my Kirkham is listed in it. The SAAC Registry, not the Bible.

That must be in the "Book of Jamo"
Haven't read that one. Heard it's hard to get through without dozing off.

According to some English friends, that would be the Welsh.

Old Testament or new?
I'm not sure anyone's been able to prove or disprove the contents of the Bible new or old, my rationale is to believe just in case. Hate to get to the Pearly Gates and be turned away just for not believing. Plus, it doesn't cost you anything to believe. It's free.
Yes, your Kirkham is listed in the Registry and for good reason. Its a current Generation Cobra manufactured by Kirkham. Hey, I'm a believer!!!

I only got through the first three:
(Reuters) -
Thou shall not drive under the influence of alcohol.
Thou shall respect speed limits.
Thou shall not consider a car an object of personal glorification or use it as a place of sin.

Although the SAAC Registry is/was the product of the hard work of the few, the SAAC Registry is based upon people and events and their memories. And a great deal of paperwork too. People, paperwork and events over the past 50+ years, which have been transcribed into a book. Sound familiar? Do you believe every person, word and event that has been written into the SAAC Registry? I sure don't. No disrespect to SAAC, its hardworking board, registrars and so on, but sorry, I don't believe everything I read.

The function of the registry is to keep tabs on the cars as they migrate along their chain of ownership. It is therefore useful to anyone contemplating the purchase of a specific car. Anyone's assessment of its contents outside of those parameters is irrelevant.
