Looks like a 'time warp' car ......it looks like it has just rolled out of the ERA workshop.....even underneath! Very, very nice.
Cheers,
Glen

That does appear exceptionally clean - probably as good or better than my roughly 100 mile ERA. The PO must have had a good dry garage and occassionally cleaned and wiped it down. I think you came upon a real jewel.

You can easily keep it that way with WD-40 and paper towels. Spray or dip a towel, wipe, then remove with a dry towel. Removes grease, oil, road and brake dust. polishing the gas tank makes it easy to keep clean too.
Twenty-two year old DP-90 and powdercoat kept this way:

Great looking cars.
I'm curious, what is the reason for the steel bracket connecting from the rear up-right to the lower shock mount on the Jag rear end?

You can see my earlier car did not have that. ERA made that either for additional stiffness there or as a tow strap or tie down mount.

I've had my Hertz for sale for over a month now to make room ($ and space) and it has not sold. I am now forced to offer BOTH cars to the market and keep what doesn't sell first. I hope the HERTZ sells first!!!!!! In the meantime, I intend to drive and enjoy this Cobra as much as I can this summer.

Wait a minute... am I reading this right? It seems like you only took delivery of ERA446 last week and you're already putting it up for sale?

One of the cars has to go. Buy my Shelby so I can keep the Cobra!! Been wanting and looking for a Cobra for 2 years. Been wanting and looking for a Hertz for 7 years. Found my Hertz last year on a whim when I couldn't find the right Cobra. Had to sell a great 65 Mustang to make that move then. Now I have both the Cobra and the Shelby but can only keep one.

I highly doubt it is a two hook or tie down.
Could it help in reducing wheel hop on hard acceleration?

Perhaps he should have sold his first car prior to purchasing the second car. Remember the Cobra credo that was beautifully outlined in this post... Questions about First Kit Car in Texas
