I second what Hotfingers said. That car is immaculate. You should really be proud of how it turned out.

Very nice! I really like those pusher fans out front. Does ERA sell those?

Yes, ERA offers those fans as an option. You can see them on ERA's options page on their website.

Those photos really show the car off well. I really like the color combination. It does look to be in great condition. Enjoy.

Great looking car. Welcome to the ERA side of the Cobra family. Great looking car.
Those ERA guys do a pretty good job for beginners.
Wouldn't hurt to throw some safety wire on the spinners.

Thumbs up

I'm assuming thats a concourse (or close) paint job?
That looks immaculate, and I really like the color combo.

Thank you all for the kind words. I'm not sure about the paint. I do know that it doesn't compare to the other similar period paint jobs that one of the recommended painters (Tony) has done. Then again, you get what you pay for. Unlike those other ERA's I've seen, this car has been cut and buffed well and doesn't show orange peel. Everything is silky smooth. It could use a simple machine polish to make it perfect (totally swirl free), but it's white so is very forgiving. I will likely be polishing it up and detailing the underside soon. The only thing that bothers me a bit is the gold staining on the SS pipes. I've tried steel wool, compounding, metal polish and more.....can't get all the gold heat stains off. I wouldn't mind if it was gold front to back, but where the muffler section is there is less heat so there is no gold staining and looks a bit off to me.

Don't sweat the pipe color-it's functional. Rubbing compound on a wheel will get it off. But the discoloration says 'stainless'-not 'chrome'.
Try to raise the rear hangar of the pipe-they should be level with the rocker.

Try Blue Magic on the discoloration. It should remove that as it is only an oxide.
