KMP/CSX roll bar removal
Friends,
I'm making the plunge to powder coat my roll bar.
I know where all the anchor points are, but is there a trick for removal?
It appears that when I take out the bolts, the hoop can go up but the back leg will too, and the back leg hole doesn't seem big enough to allow the extra height needed to disconnect the back leg tube from the hoop or rear brace.
Any of you done this?
Suggestions or pointers?
I read mickmate's instructions but it doesn't address my issue.

Have you removed the bottom bolt from the back tube ? That should let the tube slide down some, away from the hoop.

I haven't tried that yet. That makes perfect sense.
I was just doing it in my head before removing bolts.
Thank you!
You too, Pat.

1st step, powder coat your roll bar and side pipes black
2nd step, go for the beige paint job.

Step 2 is a "one and done." No one will try that again.
Over the years, I've wrestled with taking my quickjacks and roll bar to black, but haven't taken the opportunity yet. Sidepipes are black.
Post details and some pics please.

Pat, as usual, you are 50% spot on, and 50% spotless.

Chas, looking at process more, but also looking at "the look" after with the black roll bar on the polished body.
