Moving Thread
I will post this here as a new thread as I do feel it in bad taste to hijack the roll bar post, sorry for that!
Best you stay neutral as a newbie as perhaps you do not know the whole story. Then again, perhaps none of us really do. Still, you seem quite opinionated for such a fresh face asking for simple advice on building his car.
Bill S.
Bill
Thanks for your concern, but I will put my hard earned money down when I am good and ready on a cobra replica, at least I know where not to go!
This is part of my point, thanks to a guy that gets taken advantage of, there is less chance I might fall into the same scam.
Sorry, but a Big thanks to Scratchbuilder!
As for a new face who cares?
Maybe a fresh face looking at it from the outside can see it for what it is?
One thing I do know, there is certainly no defense from the crook as he has no backbone to defend himself, and looking at the pictures so far I would say he would have a very hard time defending that junk anyhow, that's why he has no answer.
Just bunker down, say nothing, wait till the storm passes and keep the $$$$.
As for the whole story, I am sure it is far worse than what the Scratchbuilder guy has let on.
ACademic
What Bill said. If this thread gets locked because others want to go all Jihad on someone else, then some of us are going to be p****** off.
Really?
do you need a paper towel?
Bernica
Yup, Mr Bill is on point.
You guys just keep showing up trying to vent opinions that don't belong here and should be taken elsewhere. Might want to read the sticky post at the top of the Consumer Watch forum.
Well it seems you have no problem showing up to contribute your? um?????
get my point?
Yes i am a newbie here and have received pm's already of others that have been scammed from this crook.

Perhaps when you've been on this forum for as long as Mickmate has and have contributed as much to the forum in the form of information, sourcing parts, and support when necessary, you will get the benefit of the support from those of us who know him and call him a friend.
At this point, it isn't looking too positive.....

Maybe to wipe your fanny.
Scott, you will get TONS of great advice here. And it can be accomplished quite easily without poisoning the water hole in the process. Good luck with your info gathering and search…we all wish you success. Just chill a little, huh?

I am sorry to inform you, you will have absolutely no business with my fanny, what you do with others fanny's is all you Mr
At least you can have a laugh, I do appreciate that, thanks.
Thank you for the best wishes, it's starting to look like I need to add to my cobra fund for the right car.
For all you D**kmate friends get in touch with him, give him some advice, tell him people here would love to hear his side!
Unless all you so called friends are just crooks as well?

With age comes majority and the wisdom to quit before you say anything you will regret having quoted 1,3,5,10,20 years down the road.
I'll leave it at that.

Just my opinion, but I have never seen anyone go from a newbie to a total tool in only 24 posts. It must be a record.

Cool does this mean you will go away now?

Is that really the best you could do, a true lack of imagination on your part.

It's been quite a while since we have had to deal with a troll like this, hasn't it?

I love the young ones, they burn their bridges early, then wonder when nobody will help them later on. We get a lot of those this time of the year on Club Hot Rod. Kiddies finally getting mom and dad to allow them to surf the web without adult supervision.

He's goating all of you. Keep responding and so will he. It's an interesting exersize in egos. Who's ego is in check and who's isn't.
Now Scott will post something clever to get my goat.
Take it Scott!
