Next point:

I mentioned that I going to THINK about the possibility to offer in the future an aluminum body conversion kit for FFR cars. Please read my reply carefully.
There is absolutely nothing done so far. So why is somebody asking for details...which details?
What do you think I have to answer to a question like that?

Wasnt I very clear here? Where is the point which needs to be explained?

Hi Mike,

believe me, your checkbook will be not the problem as they will be really affordable but before I go to tell about someone about our FFR body idea I prefer to someone see it with its own eyes sometimes in February.... but this is very depend if I want personally go forward with this idea.
This is something I wanted to ask and get opinions in this forum but now I am asking myself if I have to go blind in this project or be eaten by wolfes before I even start this idea.
I am starting three FFR units end of this month...this is the only thing I can tell.

I saw this after my previous post.

I'm not going to dig it up, but I'm pretty sure you guys made reference to using the FFR frame in your kit. You guys also made reference to potentially selling a body alone. While not interested in your kit, I am interested in an alloy body. The questions come because you guys brought up the potential. If you have no interest in selling a body only, why mention the possibility?

Now I try it in American English: Where were these pictures taken?

Come on, give me an answer.

No, you weren't clear. Posting pictures of multiple completed cars and claiming the work as your own doesn't clearly communicate "before I even start this idea". If the car you are about to show has a Factory Five frame, it would be pretty easy to tell us the chassis number. Knowing that, I can have a good idea if your body would fit my chassis. If it doesn't, then why not just say so?

I see Tom is back and will be a representative at your upcoming display. I thought he was fired for making such a hash of it here?

Mike, the answer is easy. I think there is a big potential doing a conversion kit for FFR users but I dont have any answers before I start and finish the first prototype of this conversion. The actual car we built is made based on a FFR MKIII....and unfortunately with his famous butt. But I dont care as it was....yes...a prototype, meaning we are learning from it.
We are going to build three MKIV with aluminum bodies and we can simply weld and modify those FFR chassis. And this is what we have to figure out on this conversion kits. A bolt on solution or something else to attach the sub frame for the body himself.
Before we figured this out it will be a simple idea only. If we are going through the end it will be an awesome product I think.

If you lie, you need a good memory. 150 or 14, have one or have not...what is it?

Next question, did ALLOYCARS develop and build the 550 entirely? How any were sold as of today.
THIS IS SHOP TALK! If you can't answer simple questions - then you have no reason to be here, besides making out yourself the CC fool of 2014 AND 2015.

Now conspiracy theories? Really?

In all this excitement was the ALC fundamental question answered? - is there a market for an affordable alloy cobra body? I think I read one response about Kirkham and SAI being ALC's competition but nothing further offered. Ok, Kirkham and SAI have been laughing all the way to the bank for years, as in when they deposit your hard earned money for an alloy cobra. They have no competition, SAI sets their price, Kirkham follows suit at a price point a little less to steal some of SAI's market and they both rake in some ridiculous multiple of the actual costs - those are your only two options. If ALC builds a good quality alloy body that's in-line with real costs, trust me the cobra crowd WILL COME! Novel idea, some Germans build it right here in the good ol' USA, land of immigrants forged on a system of free enterprise. All of this commentary regarding ALC lacking social graces is a little misplaced, if you are going to attack someone's honor be prepared for the fallout. Regardless of your position on how ALC handled the spears, it will not have any real impact with future ALC sales. People buy what they can see, feel and touch. If it passes that test then customer product reviews is next - due diligence. Whether 'you' think the CEO is a "good guy" or not has nothing to do with it, delivering the product as advertised is the only criteria. Steve Jobs was a visionary, innovator, and asshole to many who knew him. Everybody still buys Apple, products sell themselves. If you rely on just what some polite front man in a suit tells you, then you roll the dice and take your chances.

ALC should go for it, the market for an affordable alloy cobra body is there and sadly needed. Everybody is forgetting that ALC's Porsche Spyder is a proven entity of high quality, with sales and positive customer reviews.

Here an example of our aluminum body comparing to others. It is still unfinished and came fresh out from the forming sector.
We used an available MKIII body setup for our prototype as we didnt decide for what for model we are going for at this time. The next versions are FFR MKIV based but the way to build those bodies will be the same.
Advantage: As you can see the right or the left side of the car are made from TWO parts only. This means less weldings, less re-finish, less time which results in affordable aluminum bodies independent what for a body style you will use.

Oh,

you produced and sold from 1996 to 2007 150 alu body cars (your claim). In 2007 you seized production and 3 years later you still had 14 bodies in the shop?

Makes no sense to me.....

You should take a break here. Some of us tried to give you the benefit of the doubt. But then you came in like a bull in a china shop and piled BS over the top of my boots and now the arrogance is up to my chin. Hold off until someone actually sees something you've built in person. I'd get a little warm fuzzy feeling g if two or more of your satisfied porsche customers came here with pictures of their cars. Not you, them. Until then your credibility as precisely 0.

Good luck
