There is more than a slight difference. I got a good laugh at Mark IV's response where he teased you a bit. The guy in Florida seems to be an lying idiot with multiple personalities and cannot control his temper.

Gosh,, am I really confuuuuused now. I don't know what kind of car I have. And my car may not even know who it's true parents are. 1 company, now 2. Sounds like a divorce to me and an unwanted child, " car " that I'm responsible for.

My, my, how did I get in such a mess..

Doors open,, waiting on some good remarks. Try to be nice though,,, please!

No mess here....SPF are the same cars as they always have been. Good quality automobile. To clarify Randalls and Mark IV comments, (even though it is clear)....SPF and HiTech used to be one and the same...made and sold the cars...under 1 company
Now its just a different business relationship....Hi Tech still makes the cars, but they do it thru a business relationship with Superformance USA (Lance).

No different than thousands of other business where the marketing/sales end controls the business and creates the demand for the product.....and then "brokers" the manufacturing to a third party...in this case HiTech

Its all good, nothing to worry about...

Mike

I like the clip reminds me of a comment my wife made years ago when she use to sell real estate. She told me she hated hobby shoppers that wanted to look at houses they couldn't afford and never intended to buy.

You and New York Guy (who mentioned "the person in Florida" first)...I said elsewhere...no more discussions about that particular individual/operation/issue until I give the green light. Some time off from the site will be the next step if it continues.

Please don't test me on this.

Jamo,

Sorry for the screw up on my part.

If New York Guy had said something like Mark IV was as rude as that guy from Transylvania who impaled his enemies, I would have pointed out that the comparison was not valid as Mark IV has a sense of humor while there are really good reasons for why we would consider Vlad the Impaler to be rude.

My mistake was falling into the trap of mentioning the unmentionable because New York Guy does not seem to understand the difference between a little humorous teasing and an insult. Thank goodness New York Guy does not have a beige Cobra with dual padded roll bars and faux magnesium wheels, he might get teased about that all of the time and then just think we are all a bunch of rude jerks.

Sorry again about mentioning the subject matter that is not to be discussed.

Ken

You may have what they call an orphan car - you know, like Packard, Rambler, Plymouth, Hudson, etc.

Or maybe it's a continuation Superformance, sort of like a car we all know or an Avanti.

Just kidding.

No insult intended. Lots of good orphan cars around - I have a Plymouth GTX. Wouldn't mind having a GTO or 442 to go with it. Or a Stude Avanti. Or an American Motors Hurst Rambler in the red, white, blue paint scheme. All good.

I just left the l.a. roadster show and spoke with a sales Representative from Hillibank and was told I could buy a fiberglass or an aluminium Daytona roller. The aluminium roller has a two year wait and a cost of 500k.

Maybe it's just me, but that seems a little much.

Hmm, why not save yourself 325k and get a Kirkham coupe instead: Kirkham 289 Coupe

Hmmm, I was given a number quite a bit below that for the alloy version last fall. Delivery time was thought to be a little over a year. At that time there were only two alloy coupes built.

I thought that price was unreasonably high. I asked him twice to be sure I heard him right.
