Default Shelby fe 427 C5AE-A

Just purchased this car and the engine numbers lead me to beleive it to be a shelby 427 if it is can anyone tell me what is its value and where to sell it, it currently has i beleive to be a medium riser an twin holly 4 bbls

No such thing as a "Shelby 427" per se. There were not unique casting numbers for the Cobra engines, they were comprised of regular production parts so there is no way to I.D. a 427 used in a Cobra.

But if you can get more from somebody with a "Shelby" pedigree God Bless you...................

i dont know how that link got there i just wrote it and when i checked the link out myself it said it was added by addalink or something like that.
What I was trying to find out what type of engine is in this car. The breather says 427 it has 2 holly 4 bbls medium highrise intake and block casting # c5ae-a cross bolt mains I dont want to sell the car without knowing what engine it has.

427 is Top oiler, Press in Freeze plugs and Solid- lifters

This is the info i got from a different web page this is a copy and paste however the shelby logo did not make it here

Casting codes are pretty generic.

Pictures of the side of the block (showing the cross bolts and the sideoiler passages,screw in or pressed in plugs, top of the block, intake, etc and the date codes on everything would be helpful since no pictures show up in any of your posts at this time.

Perhaps pictures of the car as well?

If you can shoot pictures from underneath of the engine sides they might be able to narrow it down considerably. I would also look for the head and intake part numbers and possibly they may provide a clue. But the motor may also be pieced together with various parts.
