Default Colour identification

Good day form the Highlands of Scotland.

I am currently building an AK Cobra replica and have found a Cobra in a colour that I would like to use on my own car. Do any of you know the car or identify the colour.

Many thanks guys.

Paul.

Paul,

It is hard to tell from the picture, but I first thought it was British Racing Green, however it looks a little dark for that. Can you contact the owner of that Cobra and ask him which green it is?

Ron

It's not BRG. That looks metallic and BRG is not. Is that a Backdraft? Maybe one of their factory colors.

I've looked at sooooooo many variations of the BRG which is also now available as a metallic over here, but none seem to have the richness of this particular colour. I was hoping that one of you guys over there would recognise or even know the car so that the colour could be revealed..........keeping my fingers crossed and thanks for the replies so far.

Don't know what color it is, but it has got a lot of blue. Its an emerald green metallic of some sort, I'd say.

If that car is a Superformance, there's a good chance that the color is their Malachite Green.

Paul,

The problem with your picture is simple, each and every monitor and screen that this is being shown on is pixelating it a bit differently, thus throwing off the actual color.I used to tell my customers who would bring me pictures, or show me a color on their smart phones, when picking out a color, go to a car show, go to a new car dealer, and look at the cars there. Then get paint codes for the colors they were interested in. That is the only way to get exactly what they wanted.
