Perfect decision...............
Based upon car #2 cost of reconstruction this would have been cost prohibitive for this car.

Yeah both Kirkhams were originally sold at auction after filming. The other car not damaged for the movie was built into a driving car but was expensive to complete as I remember. There's an old thread here about it's build. Great decision for this car!
