Bernica the set up you used to raise the car is alarming. Begging for a face full of jack. I'm glad nothing happened.

No, I thought out every move. That was just an up and down. I have trestles and jackstands on the Kwik-Lift that I put the car on once I lifted it. Rock solid.
Although at times my wife would disagree, I am not completely stupid. Well maybe a little.

all other brand radial are crap and down right dangerous, no grip...
When you have an 11 million hp 482 that's probably true but my little 302 has done 40K with Radial TAs. I actually have to work a bit to spin 'em in anything but 1st.

what I see is an air bag supported by a jack on wheels = air bag on wheels. The danger is on the way up and down with everything shifting. Not trying to rag on you BTW

Your 302 is plenty, they have a bad top speed rating, I don't really think that matters too much, I lost grip with them in turns, spinning in a straight line is fun...

Yeah they're certainly not the best but I rarely go over 85-90 (shhhhh!) and never for any length of time so speed ratings don't matter much to me. Mine are hockey pucks after 10 years though, I really do need to get something else.

I was originally planning on going with the BB tires, but now plan to go with modern radial tires with smoothed sidewalls from dbtires and using the BB stencils from Raceline Digital. Better tires, same look, cheaper cost.

I've had my BB since 2007 with no issues. No cracks. Still look new.
See, a contribution without perverted insinuations.

Yes, just checking.
Actually several of the available tires that are popular are "LT" rated meaning the carcass is reinforced enough to support a heavier loading and therefor earn the "LT" sidewall rating.

I have the same experience as Real 1 on 2 different sets of BB`s. ,20,000 + miles.
I hope I didn`t jinx my luck by saying so.

Goodyear CAN'T be making the same compound as the past. My first set from 2009 were in good shape when I sold them on a set a wheels 3 or 4 years later.
My new BBs are less than a year old and not looking so hot. They aged much, much faster

I ran "BB" for a few years, no issues and always provided great traction however do flat spot. That goes away in a few miles....
Running Power Cushion and G7 now, very happy with them as well.
BFG are dangerous and not made for small cars with power.... My opinion
