Default Watkins Glen Vintage Grand Prix (July 24-26)

Folks, for any who have attended the Watkins Glen Vintage Grand Prix in years past, the racing event has moved to the weekend of July 24 - 26th. The town Grand Prix (the mock race over the old 6.6mile circuit through and around town) looks like a separate event in September.

It's a few years since I've attended so I'm heading up. (if you've not gone before, while the event is a little pricy, it's a blast for motorheads). If anyone is attending and wants to meet up for introduction/hello PM me. Did I say it was a blast?

Dave K.

It will be a bit weird without the downtown festival, but hey it is just for this year then everything will be back to normal and the track will be all newly repaved.

It's shaping up to be a great Friday and Saturday, low to mid 80s. Sunday shattered T-storms, ?maybe in the afternoon/evening on Sunday (hopefully). The town itself should be way less crowded. Looking forward to it. My Shell Valley cobra is still down in NC being readied for shipment to MD. We'll take taking the ol front wheel drive sleigh (CRV). I think we're heading for the Boot between T8 and T9. Stop by and we'll toast with a Natty Boh!
