Default Help me identify this Cobra

Spotted this one on the "local" Norwegian car sales web, labelled as a 1965 AC Cobra 427 S/C.

There is no relevant info. 4 speed and 450 hp is all it gives.

Its priced high compared to US replicas at approx $180000, but OK if its an original.

I“ve written to the seller asking for a chassis number.

JJ.

Detailed pictures will go a long way to assist in identifying the car.

Doesn't Kirkham use a fuse box and relays like that?

CSX 4000 would be my guess, Not a Kirkham.
Fiberglass body not alloy.
Engine bay pic is the give away.

If Aluminum it is a Kirkham

It is not a CSX4000 series car

If a fiberglass body, it is a Hi Tech

It is not a CSX4000 series car??

So why do you think it's not a CSX4000 car?

Besides the missing dash plaque, it's just my feeling that it is not a CSX4000 series car, and that it is either a Kirkham or a HiTech.

Why, do you know something not shown in the 4 pictures?

Really?
So what items under the hood is making you come to your conclusion it could not be a CSX 4000 car?

Nope.

So you cannot tell by the pic you posted this car is not an alloy body? Wow!
This car has many CSX 4000 give it way parts on it.

The lip around the hood opening does look like a glass car. I don't recognize the metal plate on top of the footbox and the steering shaft bearing retainer. Different than an original or a HiTech. You could be right that it's a glass 4000 series Shelby.

Let me guess, it's that MSD sticker on the fire wall that's throwing you off.

Yep that was funny!
The gauges look like Shelby to me, along with the Steering wheel, park brake, windscreen, side wings, etc etc.
In fact it looks like a very nice car.

The tag under the hood says Shelby America.
Could be fake I guess.

The wipers park consistent with a Shelby - but there are probably a few other makes that park the same (Kirkham for one but it looks like a fiberglass body).

I don't see a Shelby plaque on the dash or trans tunnel and don't see one on passenger side below the solenoid, which would indicate a CSX number. One easy way is to just look for a CSX number stamped on the passenger side frame / shock tower, right?

Do they make CSX4000 cars without the side curtain ferrules or folding top lift a dot doohickeys? How about the AutoMeter gauges??? Looks like a very nice Cobra, whatever it is.
