But there in lies the rub... it DOES change the outcome - it gives clarity to a misleading statement, yes?

Should CSX 4206 be an Icon for CSX owners.

You are commenting on something you weren't involved in 12 years ago? Again of course out of context. That thread was all tongue & cheek. Only a "creep" keeps citing things out of context.

Yeah sure. Read the 40th Edition of the World Registry of Cobras & GT40s. In fact, I can give page numbers for anyone that wants to learn and/or understand. PM me.

Well, they certainly won't learn how to count from you. You ought to "vet" your posts before hitting the send button. Ned, tried to correct you once, but I'll give it a try this time. You keep stating the 40th Edition, but....
it's the 4th Edition of the World Registry. You know, the one where "certain liberties were taken."
I can also give you page numbers too, where the true replica and Cobra-like references are. And you go look on the SAAC Website where you can click on "Component Cobra" to register your, er, uh, Component Cobra. Don't PM me, just ask here.

Ah, you do pay attention to what you want to pay attention to.
Yeah, Ned corrected me. Right. More like I corrected him and showed him the door on the issue. Please.
Yeah, I love that Registry with our so called "liberties" and all

It appears the miscreants have had many years of this to hone their skills, which reminds me of the expression: "If you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bulls**t."
Time to move on.

Yep, I love that 40th Edition too.
That's what Ned said, "certain liberties were taken." And he also said "let's call a spade a spade." And he also said that you own a copy, a replica too.
Long live Ned The Curator.

Yes, you cite "Ned the Curator with an axe to grind" who is full of it on that statement. It's clear SAAC took the position they took years before any litigation they had with CS in 2008.
You cite "Ned".
I'll cite the World Registry.

Evan, you bought csx4206 as a Continuation Series csx4000 Cobra.
Why did you list your csx4206 Continuation as an ORIGINAL and not a CONTINUATION?
CSX 4206 for sale. No comments on this thread please!

And now we're back to insulting Ned. He's got "an axe to grind" and he's "full of it"? That's a good strategy.
Here's what Ned said and I'll underline the important part just in case you miss it AGAIN.

At the time, it was PC to call it a shovel instead.

So, as you can see, the Registry was written during the time when there were legal proceedings. At the same time, uh, 7-10 years ago. Is that understandable?
Now, BACK TO THE FUTURE, Biff Tannen, it's 2015 and SAAC has removed any words like "genuine" or "authentic." Kaput! Kapesh?
If I have to explain this one more time...
