RodKnock would fail the "who has his initials on his guitar" quiz. He might be able to make a half-ass showing on the "dead rock star" quiz.

I know..total studio guys and brought in the best of the best like Skunk. Still gotta go.

patrickt 03-07-2016 02:54 PM

I would think now they'd throw a good bit of resources at putting on a real show.

Trying to circle back on topic and tie in last few posts...
These folks were all REAL and will never be be replicated!
REAL is a one-shot deal, IMHO.;)

You would bring up electrical wiring - my weak area. I have enough problems here so I splurged for the new stuff.:)

RodKnock 03-07-2016 03:00 PM

We ought to start building walls to keep you OLD guys out. The elderly are killing me.

No one cares about Evan's CSX4206. News flash! His car is still for sale. :)

You're the OP anyway. :D

Very nice! The 61 390 was the first I believe have had more HP that cubic inches! Your build brings back lots of memories. Send some pics.

So isn't that beautiful blue car at a $100g's less. Guess nobody cares about it and it's advertised on CC !!!!!:LOL:

Maybe he could try one of those funky "raffle" things. You know, you sell tickets for a hundred bucks each and you promise that a percentage of the proceeds will go to a worthy cause, like flea treatments for man's best friend, then you pull a name out of the hat, which turns out to be your brother-in-law, and nobody really notices because nobody really expects to win anyway.

Yes Dave's KMP is still for sale AFAIK, but Bernica's original post was about Evan's car and Bernica was taking his own thread off topic. So I made a funny comment to Bernica about taking his own thread off topic. Blue, keep up will you? I was jokingly bringing the OP back on topic, which is about Evan's car.

BTW, Dave's KMP was just listed for sale. Evan's car has been on the market longer. And it's not a race between them to see who sells first anyway.

OK, so when is Nevan's raffle to benefit flea treatments going to take place?:JEKYLHYDE

There's an old saying, "If you want a guarantee buy a muffler"

But there is one thing I will guarantee you:

Even is a lot more in your heads than you are in his.

This whole thing is really pathetic.

PCA does at least a couple raffles each year and they're always quite successful. That's not a bad idea.

The other alternative would be to throw on eBay for some free advertising or go full bore and send it to one of the August auctions here in Monterey. Some stupid drunk might pay $250,000.

For the record:

Dave's blue KMP was listed March 1, 2016.

Evan's black CSX was listed December 10, 2015, possibly earlier.
