Yes, Dave's blue KMP is still for sale. Did you miss my earlier post?

For the record:
Dave's blue KMP was listed March 1, 2016.
Evan's black CSX was listed December 10, 2015, possibly earlier.
|
Dave's blue KMP has been for sale ONE WEEK. Evan's car has been for sale THREE MONTHS? Do you see any difference in the "days on the market"? **)

You do realize the "Kimosabe" could be hurtful to Native Americans, who feel/felt that portrayal of Tonto was degrading to Native Americans.
Also, "Tonto" means moron in Spanish.
But maybe I'm being too "politically correct" for the times. :)

Yes, I've been working to improve myself for quite some time now. It's just so hard though, like running up hill all the way.:p

Any reason you wouldn't buy the blue one and put replica CSX badges on it then? %/
I mean isn't that what a 4000 series is?
:p:p:p:p Just poking the bear... lighten up! they're just cars :o

Well I, for one, am shocked and dismayed that you would even suggest such a ruse.

Dave's Blue KMP is simply stunning. So is Evans car, both are prime examples of a Cobra. Does anyone know if the Aviaid Dry Sump requires modification to the KMP footwells?
Thanks

478 posts and you finally got one right. Congrats!
|
for what it's worth. If I instantly come into a large sum of money I will buy Evan's car for his asking price. There's not a finer example of a csx4000 car in existence
I'd be proud to own it.....and drive the hell out of it.
* I would however have no disillusion of what the car actually is or isn't

That comment inspired an intriguing question. If any of you found yourself $20 million richer (after taxes), would you buy Evan's car for his asking price? I mean, given all the things you might spend on including toys of all kinds, who besides JoeT would spend some of it to own Evan's late model Shelby Cobra?
My answer is no. I'm more into performance and uniqueness than name brand, so if I had lots of money to waste, I'd look for something different.

If I had $20 Million (before or after tax), then I'd buy NYG a Cobra, so MAYBE, his future posts here would be relevant and informative.
I'd also help Patrick buy some new refrigerator insulation for his roll bars.
It's all about charity.

No here as well, being "stupid rich" doesn't mean you have to be literally stupid and rich  I'd buy Dave's blue Kirkham, get the wife a 2016 Z06 convertible, then take the extra $20K to renovate the garage :)

thanks, Sir!
I'd be happy with a Kirkham Cobra hot rod. no need for $1.5mil nostalgia. I wasn't born in the 60s
Donate the $$ to charity, like St Judes Children Cancer Research, NYC.
