Well, the actual bleeding/flush takes about 5 minutes each. So, that's ten minutes for the rear wheels and five minutes for the clutch. BUT, jacking her up, placing the stands under the frame, removing the wheels, putting safety towels around the Girling reservoirs, cleaning the hubs, anti-seizing them, putting the wheels back on and safety wiring them, I guess it ended up taking most of the afternoon.:3DSMILE:

No sofa in the garage, but I do have a Barcalounger there so that I can enjoy a protein shake after a 90-min workout and just stare at the shimmering aluminum on a beautiful mostly sunny afternoon.

Just remember Jim Fix!;)

He had heart issues and he just ran. My workouts are constantly varied functional movements performed at high intensity.

Perhaps you should consider reading a good book to expand what's between your ears....:p

Meh. Brains are overrated.

Anyone know if Evan sold the car??

twobjshelbys 02-23-2016 02:39 PM

Haven't heard from him

Lets Bring Evan back. It is so boring around here, I cannot stand to read one more post about if I got the cam spec right for the 1966 year or that I had to have the glove compartment latch custom made to match the 1964 year. Evan is a frustrating guy, but he is interesting! ( oh and Long Live the Chevy in a Cobra)

I find it hard to believe that no one else thinks his car is as valuable as he does.

(For those who don't know, that was what is known as sarcasm.)

Evil Twin

I think Evan should return, but as "Nevan," the evil twin of Evan. Same car, same issues, same desire for "realism," but Nevan is far more subtle, clever, and cut-throat than Evan ever was. Nevan won't lead with his chin quite so much, either.

Great ideas here. Evan could sell the car to Nevan.

Nevan could join the forum and we're off and running.

In other words, Nevan is the smart twin and Evan the dumb twin. Are you sure you want to hear the same old crap articulated more clearly with proper grammar and spelling?

jhv48, that's a non-starter as Nevan would know his dumb brother is about $40K too high on the car

Sounds like Evan may have a potential "sucker", er, I mean, buyer for his car. You know what P.T. Barnum (or whoever) once said.....

I hope the buyer purchased a large hammer so he or she won't accidentally miss their head.

Most of us had enough entertaining as it was. Aside from all versions of the CSX cars we all knew where our cars stood in his view.

It was just his opinion !!! I don't like bare alum cars... Don't even care for the aluminum cars in general. I drive on a dirt road goin to the lake.. Lots of rocks !! For motors I like a little ol Buick V6 Turbo BUT I wanted a BBF for the looks ... opinions opinions opinions :D

kanuck 02-25-2016 04:51 AM

Why is the guy who is going to buy his car a sucker, I have always been taught that something is only worth what the market will bare, well it looks like that is where the market is.
