New design soft top
As we all know, soft tops and roll bars don't make for aesthetic heaven.
So we tried litterally to work around the problem. Here's the result. The sidescreens are O.E. And the new rear screen is acrylic. All are easily removed and store in the boot (I'm from the UK) and the car is a 1993, alloy bodied Autokraft MK IV.
With the rear screen out its good for about 100mph (but very draughty) and with the hood/sreens up, about 85.

How the removable rear screen works
Here's some pix of how it works. I've no interest in marketing these, but happy for others to replicate the idea on non commercial basis. The rear screen just clips in top and bottom. Plastic must be acrylic or it will yellow in the sun. 4mm thick, you can bend the curves over an oil drum with a hair dryer. Just make sure it fits in the boot. Rear vision is wide screen and super clear too. Good sun protection in summer with screens out. Works well.

Yes that was the design brief. And it takes up no room at all really.

The top is awesome. I'd like to have it replicated to fit my West Coast cobra. Can you please post a few more detailed pics? Specifically would like to see how and where the frame is mounted to the car. Thanks!
