Default New SoCal Rally Coming Up

Hello, Everyone,

We are putting on a special event for new people interested in rallying on April 30. This one is a very easy introduction to basic Monte Carlo events with an added bonus. We will visit some movie sets made famous by Hollywood productions. One has special significance for Quinten Tarantino fans.

Registration opens at eleven am at the TA Travel Center (West) in Ontario, California, off I-10 at South Miliken Avenue. First car out is 2:01 pm. Total length of the event is under 200 miles and 6 hours. All cars are welcome. People have won our events in pickup trucks and Smartcars, although Subaru's and sports cars are favorites. Of course my favorite is my Cobra.

We'll cover a wide variety of terrain and roads, from high chapparal to desert red rock, from joshua trees to ponderosa pines, from river valleys to mountain vistas and some wide open desert scenery. Our rallies are all about the fun of the open road and getting to checkpoints on time. These events are on paved public roads and there is no need for high speeds. The directions are very easy to follow, just like Google maps. You just need to bring a friend to read them and a watch of any type.

Remember to join us on Facebook at Into The Night Rallye Team and visit us at Welcome to ITN Rallye Club Home Page.

RS

That sounds like a lot of fun. I wish I was down there and that my health was a lot better.

The timing sucks. That's the same weekend as the Rt.66 Fun Run, otherwise, I'm thinking it sounds great. I'm certainly up for a nice drive before out temperatures get toasty.

I love trophies! They bring back memories of fun times. Especially the ones my kids won for sporting events. When I dust my rally trophies, I can remember great roads slicing through beautiful scenery. I can't help but smile when I think of rallies when we overcame difficulties or mistakes to win in spite of the odds. So, when the box of new trophies showed up today, it got me excited about our rally coming up on the 30th. It's going to be a great one and some of you are going to take home these monsters. I pulled a few out of the box to decorate my house for a while. Thought you might enjoy them too.
