We used Wawanesa when we lived out there. We were the first Cobra replica for them and they insured it at agreed value and no limitations. Was as inexpensive as any other non-primary car.

I have GEICO and called them. They sent me through their affiliate company that does classic car insurance. They don't listen very well, I was very specific that the card had to say 1965 Shelby Cobra and it had to say that it was Classic Car Insurance. These are required by Az DMV. I had to call back to get them to fix it. Other than that the price was very reasonable. Just call your agent and they should take care of you. And you get the multi car discounts.

I have an Agreed Value policy with American Modern Insurance. Haven't personally had any claims but a friend of mine is insured with them and he did have a large claim. Seems that they handled it fairly.

I have had Hagerty for my Cobras for over 16 years. Outstanding to deal with.

I tried to use my State Farm. I asked for a declared value policy. My agent told me it was gone and signed me up for the policy. When I got the actual paperwork from them, nowhere did it state it was a declared value. I called and was informed that State Farm doesn't "do" declared value. They had set it up as a regular, depreciating policy. I cancelled and went with Hagerty.

Maybe this is just Texas, but check to be sure.

I don't know if Robbin Terry write policy in Ca. but you can call and ask.

Midwest Classic Insurance

When I totaled my Cobra they paid more than the agreed value. $2,754.46 more plus the towing and property damage to the guys front yard and tree.
