Default Unknown 427 Kit Type

I'm trying to find out what type of kit my friend has. Titled as a kit but no manufacturer type. We did find a number riveted to the frame, BX018996.... Google didn't help. Anyone know what manufacturer uses the BX prefix????

Doesn't happen to BR instead of BX, does it?

Could you post some pictures of the car? That would help the people here that know them to see just what it may be.

Pictures of the body are the least useful for identification. Most valuable are views of the suspension, engine compartment, interior and trunk.
