Default WTF Now??

Can't get the seats to move back further. Adjustable seat mount from Breeze Automotive is useless. But the fiberglass corners from Bruce won't allow the seats to go back further. When I sit in the drivers seat, my legs are all cramped up. Major surgery to the glass corners? I don't know how to resolve this issue. So frustrated I'm close to selling it as is

I can't upload pics because photobucket us $&@ked up

I can't seem to see the photos but on Hurricanes, we figured a way to cut the inner fender corner and glass the cutout back in reversed. It allows the seat to go back another couple inches. Would something like that work for you?

Nothing comes up for me on those links, Bill...

It does seem like it's been one thing after another on this build...but I remember your RCR40 build, too...lots of ups 'n' downs with that one, also...but you prevailed and I'd bet you will on this build, too.

Wish I could afford to take it off your hands...the FIA 289 model has always been my dream Cobra and I have really admired the unique custom touches you have added to the car.

I hope you can hang in there!!

Cheers!

Dugly

Bill,

Photobucket is working OK for me this morning. If it still won't work for you, could you upload your pictures to your Album and then link them to a post? The links that you have in your post doesn't work for me either.

Ron

Stop this nonsense right now. You're too talented for this type of thinking.
First get rid of the Breeze seat mount.
Secondly what seat are you using? I had a similar problem with being cramped and too far forward and went with a Kirkey low back seat with their seat brackets. All the difference in the world. Remember, PATIENCE.
You WILL overcome this!

Standard FFR vintage seats. Will do some major surgery to glass corners and have paint/body man reglass them together.

Just remember - before finalising changes put the rear wheels on to make sure there isn't a conflict.
