Removed the fuseable link between the alternator and the starter. Replaced it with a Maxi-fuse. I saw a video of the fuseable links burning like sparklers. I didn't think that was good to have in the engine bay with fuel and fiberglass.

Installed the twist latches for the door glass. Made a teflon stopper to make up the depth difference. Really nice small piece. Can be locked if necessary. Brand is UNDERCOVER CLASSIC. #( RSAS1002CL ). Hope that's helpful to someone. Not easy to find the right piece sometimes.
BTW. These are not brand new. I took them off an old lid for an f150 pick up and the white knob is the teflon piece I added.

Removed expensive custom stereo installation from the 90s. The car provides it's own awesome sounds - thank you!

Removed heads for a re-seal and inspection. Did some general cleaning with a HOSE in February!?!?! This MN weather has been great lately.

I discovered a leaking braided fuel line at the fitting to the secondary bowl on the Holley carb. I removed it yesterday and had a new one made today. Took all of 2 minutes to replace it. Usually even a simple fix like this turns into a full blown project. Surprisingly this didn't.......

Roll bar bezels: Cut them from cardboard, handed them off to my friend Marco with the CNC and he cut them out for me.

I really like your green car, it looks beautiful in street trim.
I've been polishing the aluminum in the trunk on my car....it's not a fun job.

Thank you. Today was not a fun project day. My buddy and I spent 4 hours removing dynamat from the underside of my hood. It was not fun! The good news is that we got it all off without damaging the paint. We've already removed about 20 lbs worth of dynamat weight in this car. It was everywhere!

It's a simple thing but added sox to breathers as under high rpm they do drip oil.
This cleans things up.
Next, change alternator to single plug style.

Jeff,
Looks good. Those should be effective. That dripping of oil under high rpms is why in vintage racing we have to run hoses back to a catch can to capture any oil so that it does not end up on the track.

Drove my Cobra for the first time
I got to drive my home built Cobra after an almost two-year build, the car still needs paint and I am going to do some reinforcement on the frame.
I picked up the car in 2015, it was frame, body, engine and a few boxes of parts. The car is powered by a 352 4V out of a 1959 TBird coupled to a T5WC, I switched out the original Ford 8" for a Jaguar POSI 3.30 rear end.
It’s quite a blast to drive and so much fun after all that elbow grease.
