Default Girling Brake Reservoir Can Placement

I did a search and could only come up with placement for the 427 model. Some have told me the 289 FIA cars had them attached to the foot box. Any help and pics would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Bill

I found this pic of a street 289. Was it the same for the comp cars?

The few pictures I have show the cans mounted above the master cylinders on the front face of the foot box.
Same as the picture you have shown.

Foot box.
Brakes only. Clutch has its own built in source.

Jeff
When you say the clutch has its own source, can you elaborate?

Stock street 289 location, sometimes the larger cans were used in place of the stock small cans. The clutch master cylinder had an integral reservoir, as Jeff said.

The clutch master cylinder and reservoir are a single casting.

Thanks guys. Since I'm using Wilwood master cylinders, what do you think of installing the Wilwood plastic reservoir to the clutch MC to give the appearance of period correct? I will mount the Girling brake cans to the foot box per the picture

Hey guys, what if I use one of these from Wilwood for the clutch? Would this be more period correct?

Bill,
Are you using the cans you made earlier?
I thought those looked great.
