Default 65 Cobra vs 2013 Shelby GT500, Viper, and AMG C63

This is a Car and Driver comparison that may have been around for a year or so, but I came across it for the first time today and enjoyed it, so here it is. A good analysis about why we like these cars so much.

That is a 1966 Cobra not a 1965, 1965 would be a 289, 425 HP not 485. the race car engines were supposed to be 485 with single four and high riser heads. Base price was $7495 not $10k the race car was $10k. That car with stock cast iron exhaust manifolds would be lucky to make 400 HP.

Thank you for posting that video. First time seeing it and it's a lot of fun. I don't think it told me anything about a cobra I didn't know, but it was said well. Poke it with a stick and hang on!

i've seen this many times. Love the ending! Colin's 427 Cobra looks & sounds absolutely perfect. I've heard he still is running the original blown out mufflers. (:
