Here in bicycle Mecca, we have bike lanes galore and a law that states that drivers must give bicyclists 3 feet of room before drivers can pass. Unfortunately, bicyclists are still "ass wipes." We see packs of 20-50 of them and they feel they own the road. I'm also a runner and they're "ass wipes" to runners too. I'm very happy to let them know how I feel too.

Like responsible cyclists, farm equipment is just part of the road, and adds to the challenge, imo.

When I grew up as a farm kid, having a hot car come screaming by me would absolutely make my day.

I don't know how many times I had to "bite ditch" to keep from getting run down by cyclists, back when I used to run.

I have a friend who was hit by a dickweed cyclist riding illegally on a sidewalk, who now gets to spend her life in pain. Of course the cyclist "hit and ran". It's what they do.
