Mustang humor
So it appears like Chuck Norris, the Mustang is starting to earn a growing list of jokes about it's penchant for crashing leaving car gatherings. I heard one yesterday and started me thinking what you may have heard while scrambling up a grass hillside to not get mowed down. "Last three pages of a Mustang owners manual: a bus schedule" anybody else??

I try to keep my Mustang out of on-line videos.
I've never tried to run anyone down or level out a concrete curb with it.
Actually I think it's fairly typical of newer Mustang, Camaro, Corvette and Challenger owners - trying to show out. Viper owners a few years back actually may have been the worst. I followed one out of a car show one day and he did the idiot trick of nailing it while turning out into traffic, ran over the medium curb and left trailing an expensive number of body and underside parts on the road in his wake.

Owners of Mustangs, 'vettes, Camaros, Vipers, etc. are not the dipwads on the road. Seems I might have heard of maybe one or two Cobra drivers who hit the loud pedals before getting the car straightened out.

Cobras are far from immune to this malady
Google this
Images for shelby cobra crashes
Nor are Ferrari's, or any other car with more HP under the hood than ability behind the wheel.
You can Google any make and model and see multiple examples of the lack of skill and common sense that would could have avoided these sometimes deadly mishaps.
I have seen many examples over the years and no car is immune

If you meant to write "are not the only dipwads on the road" I would agree.
Considering the quantities made - plenty of Cobra misadventures and stupid stunts too - "Hey Vern - hold my beer and watch this!! "

Dan,
I agree with you. I go watch the videos of wrecks and the idiot drivers pretty well cover every make of car including the very expensive ones. But around here leaving a car show or drag race seems to cause all of them to lose any logic they may have had.

Yeah Ron - one rule I strictly follow is make sure the wheels are pointed straight ahead before matting the throttle. If you don't have enough power to break the tires loose from a 15 mph roll, don't try to fool anyone by nailing it in a turn (and loosing control and hurting something or someone).
