I'd try using an old telephone book to sit on if it's difficult to see past the windshield.

I've never had a problem and no one has ever complained.

If you don't like what you see being reflected back, kinda sounds like low self esteem.

I had/have a brushed finish. Nothing is easier to take care of. Polished? I could just see myself obsessing about every single fingerprint.

I have asked about this before without answers till now. On a sunny day it has to be obnoxious with the glare.

So, you are saying that being "obnoxious" is bad thing?

I see FAR more glare from other car's back windows (a vertical flat plane) than my curvaceous polished aluminum Kirkham body. I'd speculate that any glare created by the polished alloy body would likely be pointing up to the sky or down to the ground. Not likely straight back at another driver.

Hey everybody, I can shed some light on the matter. For many years we did paint our cars. Never thought about doing anything else. Then we polished a couple of parts for the car, and it looked so cool, we decided to do that to the entire body. It's an unbelievable amount of work to get the bodies to look the way they do, but it always turns out very nicely.

I agree about the maintenance......now if I could stop people from touching the body........seems like they don't believe it metal......and are touching it all of the time....

How about connecting a electric fence wire to the body.
