JBL competition cobra: anyone selling?
As I look at what I want to do to my current cobra, the list gets longer and longer... and more and more expensive. Based on that ongoing rabbit hole of thought, I keep thinking of JBL competition cobras JBL home page as the best chassis, suspension layout, design, interior room ect that fits what I want. No, its not a very close match to the original cobra design. I dont really care about that all that much.
Living in Canada, building a JBL is not an option due to Gov't rules. Importing an older finished one from USA to Canada will work if the facts are right, done it with my current cobra. I also dont think JBL is making the competition version any more.
I cant find any used one for sale, but if anyone knows of one for sale, I'd appreciate the lead!

Hi Mark, I just joined ClubCobra looking to learn more about the world of Cobras. I actually have a JBL Cobra kit that was purchased in 2010-11. The Chasis is almost complete. Has suspension, tires, 427 built by Gessford motors , Tremic 5 spd, . Needs completing, plumbing, electrical, rear half shafts and pumpkin (rear end ).
Are you still looking ?

Welcome Bobby! I'm still debating, i don't think yours will work as it has to be 15 years old for me to import into Canada. Is yours a competition chassis, with the pushrod suspension?
