Classic Roasters Cobra??
I have a Classic Roasters Cobra from Fargo , North Dakota built by
Shelby American in Los Angeles, Ca. I need front wheel bearings and new
brake pads front and rear. I need to identify the front and read pads used and also the bearings are for what model mustang II????? The calipers look like older GM single piston calipers but i'm looking for someone who also has a
Classic Roadsters Cobra to tell me that they used in the build. Thank you

Sounds like you have the pretty standard 11" brake upgrade on the front. These are usually made up of Granada rotors and 80's era GM metric calipers. I think the mII bearings were the same from 74-78. You don't gave any info on the rear but I'd assume if they are disc, they are probably mid 90's mustang pads.
Shelby American did not build your car. Cowl tags are cheap and easy to come by.
Good luck with your CR.

The bearings and races will be stamped with a number for ID. Find a decent parts guy and bring the pads in and try with the year and model you assume, match them up on the parts counter!

I seriously doubt your Classic Roadster was built by Shelby American... The presence of a badge means nothing, they can be had on eBay for a few bucks.

just for your info mustang II's never had 11" rotors they were 9". 11" would be granada. which incidentally fit on the mustang II spindles.
i would source granada races and bearings

thanks i'll measure the size of the rotors and go from there. yeah i did n't
think shelby built classic roadster cobra.. i'll pull the bearings and races and get the numbers and take them to a bearing house. i'll look at 74 gm pads and see if they match up. thank you

Granada 11" rotors on mustang II caliper hangers with GM calipers????
i took the front brake pads to a brake pad shop and they indentified them as belonging to a 96 -97 Sonoma , 96-98 S 10 and maybe other different models. took them home and installed them and they fit perfectly. by the way they are 11" rotors. So if 11" rotors come from a Granada as was previously mentiioned in a post then how do the GM calipers fit onto the caliper hangers? i guess i 'm asking what kind of calioper holders do i have with seemingly a mustang II front end??????/
thanks in advance for information

they are custom brackets, there are several companies that make them. they adapt the GM caliper to a mustang spindle
yes probably a mustang II front end, some pics and it can be verified.
Do the brackets look something like this:

Have a look at the Shell Valley website. I believe they sell everything you are describing.
