Default Why? Because we can!!

Working with Mongoose930 (Kevin) on his big block 427 cobra build has inspired me to try a few new tricks here and there.

Fitting his Lucas 104 mirror got me thinking on how to make a better example than the cheapo after market mirrors available.

I started out with one of the cheap mirrors and made some mods.

Letting the paint dry then I will install it on the boss's car!

That does look great. What do you mean available to anyone? Maybe a tutorial on the process?

I can offer the mirror outright or if you wish to send your mirror to us I can modify it.
P.m. for details.

Installed on the car.

Here we are helping with the restoration of a csx 3000 car, making new control arms as the originals are damaged.

Front and rear upper control arms complete.

+1. I'd also like to understand/see how you mount the fiberglass body to the frame. Bolted/riveted, bonded or a little of both?

I use a combination of adhesive and screws to bond the body to frame.

Next up is fitting the flashing to hold the hood skin, lot of work in this step.

Ready to fit the hood skin.

Got the hood skin on today, looking pretty nice.
Still need to work the edges a little bit then a little file work and it should be good to go.

Nice work Craig. I can imagine that it is not a quick and easy task to fit the aluminum panels on the doors and make them look right.

Thanks,
it does take some time indeed, but the end results are well worth it in my opinion.

Got the trunk just about wrapped up, just need to fit the latch handle, and number plate light.

Great job on the alloy panels. It takes a lot of hard work and talent to get those right and they came out great!!
