I'm with Bob on this one, dump the banjos. The original build used NPT or a gasketed fitting into the caliper body. You can disassemble the calipers to help with removing the chips and completely flush out. Wilwood has instructions on their site for the assembly.
Check pistons and bores while you're there. Not really tuff but you do need exercise a bit of caution to not damage the bores. Pistons, seals and parts are readily available direct or through Summit and Jegs.
