Installed the radiator so I can start on the front end inner panels.
Also got the footboxes in and firewall installed. |
Maybe I missed it but is there a reason why you are doing the body/sheet metal work first?

Not sure I follow your question entirely, (body/sheet metal work first?) as opposed too what? cheers. |
Suspension, plumbing, brakes, wiring for starters.

My painter likes the cars as just a frame and body as well, seems to work fine for now. Pre fitting all the panels makes my finial assembly easier as well. Suspension, plumbing, brake, wiring etc, is pretty much the same for all my builds. |

My paint guy's have knocked another one out of the park.
Time to start putting this one together. |
Looking really nice! Ivory/white is a great choice. Any particular car this one is replicating ..... 3295 possibly?
Cheers, Glen |

Its gonna be a great look!

Now THAT is a car I'd like to see a set of Sunbursts on.
|
I don't know a lot about Sunbursts (apart from that they look good) ..... but I'm not sure they made a 9½" wide wheel that would suit a 427 Competition Cobra

Next up on this one was mounting the side vents.
|
Painted side vent louvers are the correct way to go. Most all replicas leave them bare and owners don’t take the time to prep and paint. They can be a PITA to do right (took me two tries to get mine acceptable). Nice work!

Finished up refurbishing a couple of fuel pumps, I was short a couple parts for them but a good friend came to the rescue, thanks David!!.
Got them installed on the car as well. |
Great work, Craig. Keep the pictures coming!
Cheers, Glen |
