I started this post as a test thinking the problems with the forum had hosed my other thread.

I think I will keep this thread going with this build.

Body mounted.

Aluminum hood, doors and trunk panels are going to be fitted to this one.

Hood panel fitted, ready to cut some holes into it.

The hood needs a pretty large hole in the center to allow these to breathe.

Hey Jeff,
This one is getting a 427 Fe with a TKO 600 behind it.

Little more work on the trunk panels today.

I made the modification to the door latch handles, I don't think they will fall off now.

Having installed a few Weber systems on 427 S/C Kirkham, CSX continuation Series I can tell you that the standard hood scoop opening is sufficient, both on aluminum and glass versions.

I just about have the trunk wrapped up on this one.

One rear inner wheel panel done, tricky getting these panels fitted.

Installed the radiator so I can start on the front end inner panels.
Also got the footboxes in and firewall installed.

Suspension, plumbing, brakes, wiring for starters.

Well for starters you need a frame and a body, the rest just bolts or rivets on.

My painter likes the cars as just a frame and body as well, seems to work fine for now.

Pre fitting all the panels makes my finial assembly easier as well.

Suspension, plumbing, brake, wiring etc, is pretty much the same for all my builds.
