Cool! Congrats on keeping a very old car in the mix and not falling in to the "it's too valuable to race" trap!

I agree with all of the above. Congratulations! Also just wondering what tire pressures you were running and what tires?

Here is one in car: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WQ8V...I4J89NccUhpJ1Q

One on face book from destination Garage it is the 3rd video down

Thank you all for the nice comments, working on an upgrade for the front suspension right now. I also need to put new valve springs in, all that 9000 rpm
stuff made them tired.

Awesome result guys, congratulations! Well done.

I notice after each run after you cross the finish line you "flick" a toggle switch at the bottom of the dash. What are you turning off?

Stu.

That is the switch that arms the on board engine data acquisition. He turns it off so it does not re-trigger and over write data from the run. We monitor throttle opening, fuel air ratio, drive shaft speed, drive shaft acceleration per .1 sec, traction control intervention, spark advance, RPM, MPH, intake air temp and water temp. We use the data mostly for setting traction control parameters but also look at air fuel ratios and peak rpm. We have another system that monitors G loads, GPS speed, position on the course, and average speed. Both are time based so we can see where on the course we are getting excessive wheel spin or less than expected lateral or fore and aft G loads. For example, we got about 1.4 lateral G with viper fronts on all four wheels but our acceleration dropped about .1 to .2 vs Bridgestone rear tires.
We backed to back on Friday and found that the four Kuhmo's were faster than the Kuhmo/Bridgestone combo ( which only pulled 1.3 lateral G) by about 1 second.

No, the fronts fit fine, the rear (355/30/19) is too wide though, the biggest tire I can fit under stock fenders is a 335/30/18. So we put fronts on the rear because the compound is stickier than Bridgestone's 71R compound.
