Funny you should mention the humble Toyota 1600, they are cheap and readily available and make an easy 130HP each. So If I bought 4 of them and welded them all together into a big V16 I'd have a 6.4 Litre 520HP monster!!! Of course the Cobra purists on this site would be all over me
Now I'm feeling better I'll finish off the rear suspension and drop it onto its wheels. Body work next while I save up for a motor and box.
OK lets get these bloomers on the move. I'll drop 750HP a line as he may want them before they leave our brown land.
Cheers.

Geez Mike, how could I compete with your effort! I sent an email explaining that the bloomers should be sent overseas again to get "some more miles on them" before the Fling..... Perhaps I could have chosen my words a little more delicately
What did your wife have to say about your photo shoot?

Pantys ready to fly
Hi Craig,
My wife is amazingly cool about the antics I get up to. She thought the whole thing was pretty funny. I'm incredibly lucky to have such an understanding partner.
Well it looks like we need an Overseas victim... err... recipient. Who is going to put their hand up?
Cheers.

I think it would be a great idea but I undersatand that DV wants to keep the gathering a "family" affair.
Hell I would personally bid $7.00 for them!

Aren't "Amy's Bloomers" part of the family of Cobra nuts?
ERA--you are probably right--guess it wouldn't be a family type thing

Your Bloomers(via the mysterious Amy)are being considered for an auction to benefit DVSF.
What say the "original" Bloomer owner(oops 2nd owner)
Actually ERA bid 7 for them all ready
Someone will buy them I'm sure

Sorry to throw a spanner in the works here but the previous 2 bloomer ambassidors neglected to sign the articles in question. There are however some notes and stamps on the envelopes that give some indication of their journey to date.
So do I sign them myself before I forward them on? I'll keep the other envelopes and stuff with them and maybe they can go in the frame as well.
Cheers

NO! They do NOT go to the SF! DV requested that it be kept clean for Jenny and her peers, and we WILL honor that.

Go ahead--ignore my advice. Just remember, DV was a Chicago cop and probably kept his nightstick--course you might like some personal time with a nightstick...

Actually I would just like to see the panties moving around rather faster than to date, and collecting a truly awesome amount of postage stamps etc. Just to add to the lore of the panties. (And nothing to do with the fact that I take great pleasure at the thought of many people trying to explain to their wives just why they are wearing some girl's panties on their heads in a photo!)
BTW - there does seem to be an absence of the Toik monster on this thread - is he hibernating?

So how about an online auction with the proceeds going to Team Jenny?
This isn't exactly "dirty" money ....in fact I kind of thought they smelled rather good! The dainties never have to make it to the Fling.
I already bid $7.00............................
